Hello.

After two weeks of vacation the works reminds me... a lot of work.... too little time....

Seriously, we are so VERY pleased with Coconut Grove at Hua Hin! Everything worked

The staf, all included, was there for us, as we felt. 

Especially Lek! She made our vacation far over expectation!!! 

The taxidriver, he had always a smile in his face! Pernilla, she was so accommodating! I don´t remember the name of the woman who almost always follow the taxidriver and was his translator was so nice!

Particular we would like lift up Leks efforts! She helped me at the hospital, she was so helpful while Joakim get sick,  she was always available and always smiling and glad!!!! She was curious and wants to learn the english language. The whole family almost fell in love with Lek!

If you need references, just ask us! Our english are not the best but we can give your Scandinavian customers a good word.

We are overwhelm over our visit at  Coconut Grove!!!! 

Your staf: The taxidriver, the woman who is almost always with him as a translator, Pernilla and Lek, all your staf made our two weeks in your house wonderful. We are in love!!!!

The only complaint we have is that we would like the taxidriver knew English more widely.

Hoist to take care in Hua Hin Thailand

Just a few days ago I was up dating all our readers about our medical equipment available in our pool villas Coconut Grove for free to all our guests. I showed a picture of a electrical hoist in my previous blogpost .
And now I like to share two more pictures of another hoist. One which has two different kind of mechanismes. Disabled people using these hoist at home will recognize it. And they will now know that this kind of hoist is available in the accommodations of Wheelchair Thailand Hua Hin alias Gehandicapten.com .
Taking care of handicapped family member will become as easy as at home. And maybe even easier whit the help in the house of our lovely and service minded housekeeper.

Laundry service.

Thailand is a country with many shop who provide laundry service. Not only for hotels, guesthouses and restaurants but also for private persons who spend their holiday in Thailand or live here part of the year. These shops wash your cloths and your bed, bath and kitchen linen for just a few Baht.

Most of the time you can find a laundry shop around the corner. Some condominium buildings have their own laundry shop like Tira Tiraa. So you step out the door of our wheelchair accessible apartment, walk down the hall and just around the corner is the laundry shop.

But remember guests of our villa Coconut Grove, our apartment Tira Tiraa and Studio 74 don't have to bring their laundry / clothes to the laundry shop. Our housekeeper is providing this service for free.

Access limited, Petchaburi

Access limited is the title of this post. Why? Take a look at the picture and you know. Stairs and a train. But does this make the place inaccessible to wheelchair users. We don't think so. It all depends on your handicap and perseverance.

Guests of our villa Coconut Grove took this train. This disabled guy could walk a few steps with help of his parents. By far the easiest way.

At the other side of this mountain is a steep road. Very bumpy. Take the route of the worse part of the bycicle tour Luik-Bastenaken-Luik and multiply this with ten. Then you have a small idea of the condition of this road. We have tried with a powered wheelchair but stopped after ten meters.

Once you are on top of this mountain you have a beautiful view, can take walk in the park and visit the temple and observatory.
We took a walk through the city which is interesting too.
